It's 2026, Where are we?

Hey there, 

I'm touching base because it's been a while.

You may have noticed that the JF website is still in away mode, and I've pretty much dropped of the face of the earth on socials. I wanted to reach out to let you know I'm still here and I'm still offering bespoke work, quotes, and classes. 

There’s been a lot going on for me. I lost my soul dog unexpectedly just days before Christmas, and not long after, my family received a cancer diagnosis. Alongside all the other life stuff in between, it’s been a lot to carry. I’ve needed to take some extra time away to give myself breathing room and space to grieve.

Amongst all of those feelings, I’m now slowly coming back into the swing of life.

There's also something we need to touch on. As you're probably aware, the last 12 months have been very turbulent for the jewellery world in regards to precious metal prices.  The last time I repriced my catalogue was early 2024 and since then, I've seen rises of Gold 160% and Silver 330%. Sadly you can guess where this is headed.

I've been putting off raising my prices for as long as humanly possible, but it's now hit a point where it's no longer feasible for me to do so. This is a gentle heads up that once my website has a refresh and goes live, new pricing will be in place.

Jewellery will temporarily remain unavailable from my website for another week or two while I sort new pricing.

 
I'm also taking this opportunity to do a big refresh of my offerings, dusting out old designs and bringing in new designs for us to love and wear, including a totally fresh catalogue of chains. Which is really exciting. 

Anyway, this ended up a little long winded, but thank you for sticking around and reading. It feels like I've had a doozey of a year. Maybe 2026 will be my year.
